| Where/How can I find out about swingers parties in Chicago? I'm a single professional recently relocated to Chicago. I was watching an episode of Nip/Tuck the other day (S01E07) and they have this party called "the scene" which is a swingers party (in which they have to send pictures to be admitted or something)...Maybe that is entirely fictional but I doubt it, I know swingers exist and I would very much like to learn more about it. | Is it legal to host swinger parties in hotels even if people are paying to attend? I went to a swinger party that is single-male-friendly. I found them through a website ran by a couple. What they do is post dates for their parties online. The person just has to e-mail them with a picture and description and confirm they will attend. They don't disclose the exact hotel until a few hours and on the day of the party when you get there the guy tells you to call him to let him know you're there and then you go in through the a back door. Once you go in the room a so called 'donation" is required. The "donation" is to pay for the costs of the party (snacks, soda, adult dvds, condoms, etc). Single men pay $100, couples are $30 I believe and single females are free. They are very discreet about it too. No pics and vids are allowed and they have rules like "don't touch anyone without permission, be respectful, always use condoms, blah bla bla..." Their parties last about 4 hours. Daytime parties are called gangbang parties so the ratio of men to women is like 15:5 and probably only 1 or 2 couples. Their evening parties I assume are more couples friendly and they call them simply swing parties. So is this legal? Is there like a loophole in the law against prostitution? This is in the Northeast U.S. by the way. Sorry if I over-explained but I was wondering about this. Thanks. |
| There's another thing you have to take into consideration that probably not a lot of other people may think of. Which is, the Hotel itself and whether or not the owners and managers even know that it's going on and whether or not they would allow it. The person who answered before me is essentially correct in that if it were legal they wouldn't have to be ducking and hiding. I would be very carefull that this isn't law enforcement itself setting up some kind of trap or "sting" so to speak-they are notorious for this. |

| Should I be worried that there is more going on then he admits to? My husband and I were married not that long ago (in may) though we've been together for almost 7 years.
